Every project we take on follows the same rules. They are written here so you can hold us to them, and so you can ask any other provider the same questions.
1. Every account is in your name
The domain is registered to you, with your email as the contact. The hosting account is yours and billed to you. Google Search Console, Google Analytics and your Google Business Profile are set up under your account, and we are added as users. If an account is currently held by someone else, getting it back into your name is the first thing we do.
2. You have full access from the first day
You get a full administrator account on your website before any work starts, not after the final invoice. We work through our own user accounts, which you can remove whenever you like.
3. You can leave at any time and take everything
Because everything is already yours, leaving us means removing our user accounts. There is no export to request, no transfer fee and no permission to ask. We would rather keep clients because the work is good than because leaving is difficult.
4. Standard WordPress, built properly
We build on standard WordPress, without proprietary page builders or custom systems that only we understand. Any competent WordPress developer can pick up a site we built. That keeps you free to change provider, and it keeps us honest.
5. Quotes in writing, no surprises
Every quote says what we will do, what is not included, what we need from you and when. Work outside the quote is agreed in writing before it starts. We do not publish a price list, because two sites that look alike can need very different amounts of work, but you will always know the price before you commit.
6. Honest advice, even when it costs us work
If a website builder suits you better than a custom site, if you can maintain your site yourself, or if your site does not need a redesign, we will tell you. Our blog is written the same way: it explains how to make these decisions whether or not you hire us.
7. Built for people first
Sites we build are meant to be read on a phone, by someone in a hurry. That means clear pages, fast loading, readable text, forms that work and the basics of accessibility. The same qualities are what search engines and AI assistants reward.
